How Philip is is shaping the future with confidence
"Insurance offers a vital service to societies by providing a safety net that allows individuals and firms to take the risks necessary for economic growth while protecting families from adversity. However, a protection gap still exists, partly due to inefficiencies in the business model and a rapidly changing risk landscape, which can prevent insurance capital from reaching where it’s needed.
In my work with clients, I am proud to help them find ways to innovate their products, reduce operating costs and allocate capital efficiently to bridge this protection gap. I have a strong professional interest in sustainable insurance and stakeholder capitalism. I believe that insurers can and should play a key role in combating climate change, driving progress toward net zero, accelerating diversity, equity and inclusion, and maintaining a strong focus on progressive governance.”
