K-One Technology Bhd
Edwin Lim is the co-founder and Chairman of K-One Technology Bhd (K-One) that was established in 2001. K-One designs, develops and manufactures mobile phone accessories, computer peripherals, security products, consumer electronic lifestyle products, automotive aggregates, healthcare/medical devices and industrial products for multinationals, and distributes them globally. It exports more than 90% of its design services and products, and counts some of the top international brands including Sony, Ericsson, Electrolux, Fischer & Paykel and Logitech, as its customers.
Under Edwin’s leadership, K-One’s sales turnover grew from RM3 million in 2001 to RM186 million in 2014, with each year’s sales surpassing that of the last. K-One was listed on the then Mesdaq Market (now known as the ACE Market) of Bursa Malaysia in 2006. In 2013, he restructured the Group and turned K-One around to achieve stellar financial results in 2014, recording sales of RM186 million and profit after-tax of approximately RM12 million.
