Tuan Haji Ahmad Khalif

Ahmad Khalif, also known as ‘Akay’ among his staff, is the Executive Chairman of Tujuan Gemilang Sdn Bhd (TGSB). TGSB was established on the ethos that the company would only develop significant projects with bold ideas. From Akay’s point of view, the projects undertaken by TGSB have to be significant, challenge convention and reinvent the existing prototypes. He believes the projects by TGSB have to somehow push the industry forward.

A charismatic and innovative leader, Akay has built teams with the personal values of integrity, teamwork and respect in order to focus on achieving the company’s desired goals. Under his leadership, the company has won a remarkable amount of recognition and awards locally and internationally. TGSB is the only developer to win “The Big Four” awards in the industry - the Fiabci World, Fiabci Malaysia, ARCASIA (Architects Regional Council Asia) and PAM (Malaysian Institute of Architects) awards. And TGSB has achieved this feat not just once but twice over for its two completed projects.

Passionate about sports, Akay is particularly good at golf, plays the occasional game of football (wisely placed between the goalposts) and owns a multi-purpose sports centre.

Akay also sits on the boards of several property companies such as the Emkay Group of Companies and Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd.
