Universiti Malaya (UM) and Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn. Bhd. (EY) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of AI-related curriculums and courses.
The MoU outlines areas of collaboration that will give UM students access to EY's network of consultants and global resources. Through this, EY consultants will contribute as guest speakers and project supervisors for final-year students. This collaboration aims to provide students with the latest resources and insights in the field of AI.
Over the past two years, and continuing to the present, EY has welcomed 26 interns from UM to engage in projects related to data analysis, data engineering and AI. Additionally, Partners from EY, including Adrian Chew, the Malaysia AI, Data, and Technology Leader, along with his team, have conducted dialogue sessions with UM's academics.
