“As we look ahead, entrepreneurship will become even more important. Congratulations once again to EY for its enduring commitment to championing entrepreneurship.”

“As we celebrate the silver jubilee of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program in Malaysia, we are proud to recognize the remarkable entrepreneurs who have transformed ideas into businesses, created lasting impact and contributed to the country’s development.

We are honored to play a role in recognizing these inspiring individuals whose leadership and innovation continue to drive progress for our economy and communities.”

Philip Rao, EOY Malaysia Program Director and Partner, EY Malaysia, said:

“For 25 years, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program has celebrated the entrepreneurs who help shape Malaysia’s business landscape. This year’s theme, The Shapers, reflects the influence these business leaders have beyond their own organizations. We are proud to recognize a new group of Top Nominees who are shaping industries, strengthening communities and contributing to the future of our nation through their resilience, innovation and vision.

“This year’s response has been particularly encouraging as we received a record number of overall nominees, which demonstrates the program’s growing reach and its ability to uncover outstanding entrepreneurs beyond our existing community. The nominee pool also reflects a diverse range of business, including technology and consumer products, healthcare and renewable energy. Collectively, they generate more than RM5.7 billion in revenue and support over 10,000 jobs, highlighting the important role entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth and creating opportunities across Malaysia.”

To commemorate the program’s 25th anniversary, EOY Malaysia has launched Road to Monaco, a podcast series produced in collaboration with BFM. The three-part series brings together accomplished entrepreneurs to reflect on the lessons, resilience and purpose that have shaped their journeys from ambitious founders to business leaders.
