Jason Yuen is a Partner at Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn. Bhd. with more than 27 years’ experience in cybersecurity, governance and controls. He has held senior leadership roles including advisor at the national cybersecurity agency, country general manager at a regional managed security services company and a platform security leader at a global multinational software company.
He has led cybersecurity programs across industries, including maturity and compromise assessments, red team exercises, personal data protection, privileged identity management, as well as compliance with Risk Management in Technology (RMiT), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) requirements.
Jason has also developed business continuity plans for financial services, pharmaceuticals and utility firms, as well as reviewed contingency strategies for banking, insurance and telecommunications.
As a recognized industry leader, Jason is a member of National Tech Association of Malaysia’s (PIKOM) Cybersecurity Committee and a past president of ISACA’s Malaysia Chapter.
He is also a regular speaker at regional and international conferences, such as IIA International, San Diego Secure eCity, Hacker Halted, Bursa Malaysia Industry Education and the Singapore Technology Audit and Controls Conference, where he has shared insights on information security, audit, governance and regulatory issues.
