Sam is an Associate Partner of Ernst & Young Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd in the Operating Model Effectiveness team of the EY Asia-Pacific Tax Centre, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
He has over 15 years’ experience in transfer pricing, international tax, business restructuring and change projects as both an external advisor and in-house senior tax and treasury leader.
At EY, Sam spends his time advising fast-growth companies in a wide range of sectors, but with a focus on the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors. As the organizations grow internationally, he helps them establish the most tax-effective operating models for their businesses.
Prior to EY, Sam worked for an Asia-Pacific headquartered multinational technology company as Global Head of Tax & Treasury.
Sam is a regular speaker at conferences on operating model effectiveness, transfer pricing and digital taxation.
