Claudio Sassaki is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. He co-founded and served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Geekie, a leading EdTech company known for pioneering real-time, data-driven personalized learning solutions. He was also the Lead Consultant on AI for Social Innovation for the World Economic Forum.

Throughout his career, Claudio has collaborated closely with students, educators, schools and districts to design and implement innovative, personalized learning models. His work helped introduce large-scale applications of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in Brazilian education, impacting more than 12 million students across 5,000 schools.

Under his leadership, Geekie became one of Brazil’s most acclaimed EdTech companies, earning multiple national and international awards and receiving coverage from global outlets.

Claudio’s recognitions include EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2016 Brazil Emerging winner, Wired UK Innovation Fellow and Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation. He is also an Edmund Hillary Foundation Fellow, an Endeavor Entrepreneur, a World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Award recipient, a Trip Transformador honoree and a Folha de São Paulo Social Entrepreneur.

His trajectory and his work at Geekie have been featured in the documentaries A New Capitalism and Going Forward. He also co-authored a chapter in the book Visible Learning – Theoretical and Practical Experiences in the Classroom.
