After completing her accounting degree at the University of Groningen, Femke joined EY in 2012. After years of experience as an external auditor for various clients, focusing on integrated audits and including a three-year rotation to the USA, Femke is now focused on providing advice in the areas of accounting, reporting, and internal control as part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) group.
Femke is known for her expert advice to clients on a wide range of financial accounting issues (related to US GAAP, IFRS, and RJ), as well as creating, improving, and testing internal control measures around financial reporting. Compliance with regulations and supporting accounting and compliance functions are high priorities in this regard.
