Jaap de Jong is an Assurance Partner at EY Netherlands. With a background as an accountant, he is broadly involved with his clients. In addition to having final responsibility for financial statement audits, he is also responsible for sustainability reporting and the broader CFO agenda. With his all-round profile, he acts as a strategic sparring partner for executive boards, supervisory boards and audit committees.

Within EY, Jaap is responsible for the sustainability practice, covering both advisory and assurance. In this role, he focuses among other things on sustainability strategy, reliable sustainability reporting and its implementation, and decarbonization. Previously, he led the Assurance practice for the Utrecht, Arnhem, Zwolle and Groningen offices..
