Patrick advises entrepreneurs, investors, and companies on valuations, mergers and acquisitions, complex capital issues, and disputes. Context plays an increasingly important role: the risks of geopolitical tensions, climate change, and technological disruptions must have a place in investment decisions.
Patrick is a certified public accountant, registered valuator, and court-appointed expert, with more than twenty-five years of experience at EY, including two years in Singapore. He conducted research among leading private equity parties and developed a framework to make deal processes and valuations more robust against the risks of our 'VUCA' world (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous).
As Netherlands Attractiveness Lead, he connects these insights to a broader question: what must the Netherlands do to remain attractive to international investors? Patrick believes that long-term value creation requires a broader view than short-term efficiency alone.
