The Tax and Customs Administration is using new bank account numbers from 1 May 2026.
Whenever you have to pay tax, you will receive notification of that from the Tax and Customs Administration. That notification is always accompanied by payment information. That payment information includes the bank account number to which you must transfer the money. So in the coming period you need to check carefully whether the bank account number which you must use has been changed.
The tax authorities have several different bank accounts. The account number to which money must be transferred will be on the notification that you receive from the Tax and Customs Administration. Generally that will be: NL04 RABO 0200 1122 44. Do you see a different bank account number? And do you wonder whether it is the correct number for the Tax and Customs Administration? You can check the account number here.
