I started my career in EY in the UK right after graduating from Imperial College. A financial module that I took during my undergraduate days sparked my interest in the financial sector and I decided to take up an audit training contract with EY as it offered me the opportunity to upskill through obtaining the chartered accountant qualification as well as on-the-job training experience. Nearing the end of my contract with EY as an audit associate, I decided to reach out to the EY network in UK and Singapore, where my family is based, to find out the various opportunities available. I was glad to link up with one of the associate directors in EY Singapore, who gave me good insight into what infrastructure advisory entails and the opportunities available in infrastructure advisory. I have since joined EY in Singapore and have been in the Infrastructure Advisory team for 2 years.
