This event focuses on the key requirements of IFRS S1 and S2 and explore practical steps that organizations can take to prepare.
In June 2023, the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) released IFRS S1 General Requirements for the Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information, and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures. Designed to bring greater consistency and comparability to sustainability reporting, these standards establish a global baseline for disclosing sustainability-related and climate-related risks and opportunities. They apply to annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2024 with specific adoption times to be determined by local jurisdictions.
IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 have the potential to significantly elevate the quality of sustainability disclosures, supporting better decision-making for investors and stakeholders while helping companies meet emerging regulatory expectations.
This 30-minute webinar will discuss the key requirements of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, and explore practical steps that your organization can take to prepare.
