Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships and CSP Act 2024

As part of Singapore’s ongoing efforts to strengthen corporate governance and align with international standards on anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT), two key legislative reforms came into effect in June 2025.

The Corporate Service Providers Act 2024 (CSP Act) took effect on 9 June 2025, followed by the Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2024 (CLLPMA Act), which took effect on 16 June 2025.

These acts introduce significant obligations for companies, foreign companies, limited liability partnerships (LLPs), nominee directors and corporate service providers (CSPs).
