Rosaleen Blair CBE
Chairman and Managing Director, Alexander Mann Solutions
Rosaleen has revolutionized recruitment, transforming how blue-chip companies attract top talent.
Rosaleen Blair says she may not have had “the greatest education,” but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming an award-winning investor, philanthropist and serial entrepreneur.
Spotting an opportunity to change how blue-chip companies attract and retain top talent, Rosaleen founded Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) in 1996 and served as its CEO for 23 years. During that time, she led the business through huge geographic and revenue growth, a management buyout, four private equity relationships and a global economic crisis.
In 2019, she sold the business and became Chair of the company. By that point it was a global market leader, with 4,500 employees serving more than 100 blue-chip organizations, in over 90 countries around the world.
Rosaleen is committed to creating opportunities for others, both within Alexander Mann Solutions and through other organizations including the Prince’s Trust, UNICEF, Modern Muse, Everywoman and the London Irish Centre.
I’ve always owned my own destiny, and I think that’s really important.
