The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ awards program, launched in 2006 in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, is recognized for honoring entrepreneurs who achieve success by combining ability with opportunity. It is part of a global program which helps entrepreneurial businesses in more than 145 cities in over 60 countries and regions.
What makes the EOY program special?
Unlike other business awards which take place at a local or national level, EOY Award winners from around the world will represent their countries or regions vying for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year (WEOY) title. With much honor, the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 title went to Cho Tak Wong of Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co., Ltd., the first Chinese ever awarded such title.
