European Corporate Governance Conference 2022

European Corporate Governance Conference 2022

Sustainability in Corporate Governance: from concepts to practices

Organized by EY, in collaboration with ecoDa, Czech Institute of Directors, ACCA, BusinessEurope and EuropeanIssuers, the European Corporate Governance Conference 2022 – under the auspices of Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU – brings together decision-makers, academics and key business, as well as civil society, experts from EU and beyond.

At this year’s conference, the speakers will exchange views on how to address sustainability in corporate governance, including the proposed Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. They will also discuss remuneration policy in connection with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets, while focusing on European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) upcoming European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Finally, the conversation will shift to the global stage and delve deeper into the review of the G20/OECD’s Corporate Governance Principles.

The conference will be livestreamed.
