Bálint Rehák

As the Head of the Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility practice at EY-Parthenon, he advises clients on commercial and growth strategy, digital and transformation programs, as well as M&A and portfolio development initiatives.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESMT Berlin and an engineering degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, complemented by international scholarships and research programs.

His professional background is defined by complex corporate strategy and industry transformation projects, including:

• Assessment of supply chains and design of risk-mitigation models for manufacturing companies.
• Development of industrial strategies and government-led development programme structures across multiple sectors and technologies.
• Establishment of an Industry 4.0-focused digital manufacturing business unit at a leading German technology company, including product portfolio, R&D and go-to-market strategy, and identification of inorganic growth opportunities.
• Regional portfolio and investment management, supporting investment projects and carve-out processes at a global chemical company.
• Analysis of the electric vehicle value chain, with a focus on battery lifecycle and logistical infrastructure in a premium automotive environment.
• Technology assessments and international network development modelling for EV charging infrastructure for a major automotive group.
• Leadership of manufacturing and supply chain investment projects, delivering process optimisation and productivity improvement programs across diverse production environments.

His areas of interest include the transformation of mobility and manufacturing, technological innovation, commercial growth models and inorganic development opportunities.
