Albert oversees all service functions in the Greater China Region in 29 locations and over 20,000 people. With over three decades of accounting and advisory experience, he has maintained strong relationships with government and regulatory agencies in China.
He holds various advisory roles in government and professional bodies, including Advisor on Accounting Matters to the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China; Advisor to the International Business Leader‘s Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai; member of the Shenzhen Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; and President of the Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce.
In 1998, the Shanghai municipal government honored Albert with the “Magnolia Gold Award.” He was ranked among Global Accountancy Power 50 by International Accounting Bulletin in 2013 and 2014.
Albert holds an MBA and a BBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
How Albert is building a better working world
In the early 1990s, the Chinese government began to encourage state-owned enterprises to become joint-stock companies and to list on the domestic and international stock markets in an effort to accelerate the country’s economic development. Albert was instrumental in this transformation through the professional service and advice he provided to many of these companies.
Albert contributes his experience to his community’s advancement through various roles, including Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Shanghai Senior Citizens Foundation set up by the Shanghai municipal government, board member of Shanghai University, and Advisory Board member for the School of Accountancy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
