YE: The Entrepreneur of the Year is a must-attend event, it is the event. It is the most prestigious recognition in the region, celebrating entrepreneurship at its highest level. As you know, it brings together some of the most influential figures in Luxembourg’s business landscape, experienced entrepreneurs leading companies rooted here. These individuals have – and will – deeply impact our country. Also from a candidate’s perspective, this journey offers much more than a title. It provides outstanding national visibility throughout the process along with access to an exclusive and powerful network of entrepreneurs. It is that moment of the year when local entrepreneurs showcase their achievements and potential, both at home and, for some on an international stage. This event resonates across Luxembourg, beyond borders, and through generations, and we invest big effort and resources with our sponsors to ensure it is seen, heard, and remembered.
A final word for the readers?
CG: Entrepreneur Of The Year is more than just a title – it is recognition, visibility, and an unforgettable journey, from Luxembourg to the world stage. The winner will have the honor of representing the Grand Duchy at the global final "World Entrepreneurs of the Year" in Monaco in June 2026. Don’t miss out and follow this journey with us.
Just look at past winners like Marc Giorgetti (Groupe Félix Giorgetti, 2023), Claude Wagner (entrepreneur active in the retail of construction materials, DIY and sports, 2016), or René Elvinger (Cebi, 2013) – all powerful examples of transformation in action in our region.
Who is eligible to apply, and how do you pre-select candidates?
CG: We have strict requirements. We target entrepreneurs - in both financial and non-financial sectors - who play a central role in the recent success of a company that has been established here for at least two years – and in the management for the two last years. Also, we’re looking for leaders with an innovative mindset, and a strong, sustainable impact – not only economically, but also socially and environmentally. It is not about company size, but about leadership and meaningful influence. These criteria are non-optional to be part of the last finalists.
