Co-founder of Alter Domus, René Beltjens was honored for his decisive role in transforming a young Luxembourg-based company into a global player in fund and corporate services. A visionary leader, he steered Alter Domus’ growth through accelerated digitalization and international expansion, integrating advanced technological solutions and strengthening its presence in key markets. Under his leadership, the company expanded its footprint across more than 20 jurisdictions worldwide, serving a global client base while investing in ESG initiatives. His journey illustrates the ability to combine strategy, innovation, and responsibility in a rapidly evolving sector.

Behind this success story lies a simple philosophy:

“Starting means overcoming all the reasons why a project might fail. The hardest part is persevering when those reasons materialize,” he confides.

A discreet visionary, René demonstrates how local ambition can turn into global impact while staying true to his values. And to symbolize his role as a Shaper, he chose the bicycle: “Life, and running a business, is like riding a bike: if you don’t move forward, you fall. That constant motion is essential to progress and maintain balance.”
