EY Luxembourg continues to grow with 256 new joiners

September marks an ongoing tradition for EY Luxembourg. As we start this new season, EY is delighted to welcome 256 new professionals. In total, 31 nationalities come together at EY Luxembourg, bringing cultural perspectives and educational experiences that enrich the company’s DNA.

With women representing 45% of the intake and men 55%, this new cohort brings together a broad range of profiles, backgrounds and aspirations. Alban Aubrée, Country Managing Partner of EY Luxembourg, places particular importance on maintaining a near-equal balance between women and men across the firm’s recruitment intakes.

On 15 September, the European Convention Center came alive as EY Luxembourg welcomed new joiners, from recent graduates to senior managers, for its annual Welcoming Day. The varied program combined informative presentations, interactive workshops and panel discussions with the firm’s senior leaders. It also gave participants the opportunity to connect with colleagues who joined the previous year, exchange ideas and begin building the relationships that will support future collaboration and help nurture the next generation of leaders.

“Welcome to EY Luxembourg. I am proud to see each of you begin this new chapter with us. Your ideas, experiences and ambitions will enrich our firm, and I look forward to seeing the great impact you will create,” said Alban Aubrée, Country Managing Partner of EY Luxembourg, as he welcomed the firm’s 256 new joiners.

This gathering marked the official launch of the firm’s comprehensive training and induction program across Assurance, Consulting, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Core Business Services, a journey that will continue to unfold in the months ahead.

Continuing another EY tradition and reflecting the firm’s commitment to more sustainable mobility, new joiners will be invited to explore a selection of electric vehicles displayed outside the EY building. This year, junior employees will also benefit from a dedicated catalogue of leasing options tailored to their needs.

René Ensch, the firm’s Talent Leader, says: “Every new joiner brings fresh energy, ideas and perspectives. Together, they will shape the future of EY Luxembourg. Our role is to give them the support, opportunities and confidence they need to grow and make a meaningful contribution from the very beginning.”

Virginie Benitez, EY Luxembourg’s HR Director, adds: “Having worked across several organizations throughout my career, I have rarely seen such genuine excitement about joining a firm. What stands out to me is the richness of EY Luxembourg’s diversity: people from different cultures, with varied experiences and perspectives, united by the same desire to learn, contribute and grow together. As I begin my own journey here, I am proud and grateful to welcome them to EY.
