Murat has more than 12 years of experience and is focused on the tax aspects of the organization and operation of a breadth of private investment funds, real estate funds and infrastructure funds.
He specializes in Luxembourg and international tax law, with an emphasis on the tax aspects of private equity and real estate transactions in a cross-border context including the structuring and implementation of portfolio transactions, restructurings, (re-)financings and joint ventures.
Among his clients are many of the -leading European and developing-market private equity firms. On an investor side, he represents a number of institutional investors, corporations, banks and insurance companies.
Murat is a qualified German lawyer (2nd state exam finished) and holds a Diploma in Luxembourg taxation.
