Esther Erin and Ethan Wong co-founded Dodo Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (Dododots) in December 2021 with a mission to help people with acne feel more confident, even on their worst skin days. Having personally struggled with acne, they set out to transform that insecurity into a brand built on authenticity, fun and self-acceptance.

Dododots is a Malaysian-born brand offering the world’s largest variety of pimple patches in different shapes, colors and designs. Its products help heal blemishes while making acne feel less intimidating and more empowering. The patches absorb oil, reduce inflammation and protect the skin from picking. From humble beginnings packing orders by hand at home, the company has grown into a globally recognized, community-driven brand, selling millions of packs worldwide and reaching customers across Southeast Asia, Canada and beyond in just four years.

Through Dododots, Esther and Ethan are shaping the future with confidence by building a kindness first, inclusive brand that challenges the stigma surrounding acne. Through authentic storytelling and a social media community of more than 500,000 followers, the brand creates lasting emotional connections and customer loyalty across the 22 countries to which it currently exports.

The company continues to expand its footprint by partnering with leading retailers worldwide. It also plans to grow its vending machine network into Vietnam and Australia while developing new product lines rooted in its community-first ethos. Guided by the vision of becoming the world’s most loved acne-positive skincare brand, Esther and Ethan remain focused on driving Dododots’ continued growth. Their ambition is to build a unicorn brand founded on authenticity, inclusivity, and the belief that imperfections can be genuinely celebrated.
