Dato’ Fad’l Mohamed was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia on 1 March 2025. He brings over 30 years of experience spanning legal practice, investment banking and capital markets. Prior to joining Bursa Malaysia, he was Managing Director of Group Wholesale Banking at RHB Bank, and, among other roles, served as Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Investment Bank. He also founded and led Maestro Capital Sdn. Bhd., a boutique advisory firm.
Dato’ Fad’l holds an MBA from Imperial College London and a law degree from the University of London. He is a certified expert in sustainable finance, a fellow chartered banker and currently serves as Deputy President of the Kuala Lumpur Business Club.
