As a Manager at Ernst & Young – The Netherlands, Pieter focuses on digital innovation and operational transformation. He is the driving force behind EY services on topics such as PSD2, open banking and blockchain.
With more than five years of consulting experience, he has a strong track record of managing projects related to digital innovation, new business models and value propositions, target operating model (re)design, IT delivery and regulatory change.
Prior to joining EY, Pieter worked in digital customer experience and digital channels for several years. He earned an MSc in Strategy and Innovation from Maastricht University and studied for a semester at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
How Pieter is building a better working world
Pieter uses his experience in digital and innovation to support entrepreneurs across the world in growing their businesses. He has been a business coach to a potato farm in Uganda and gave several business model courses to a group of entrepreneurs from various African countries.
Furthermore, Pieter challenges his clients in the financial industry to ask critical questions and to strive for a continuous cycle of improvement and innovation to better serve their customers.
