EY was a proud partner of The Next Web Conference for the 4th consecutive year. On June 19th and 20th, 2025, we organized an inspiring program of sessions in our EY Dome, featuring thought leaders discussing key topics such as AI adoption, innovation strategies, and the future of work. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in workshops and panels, including a Women in Tech discussion, while also enjoying our EY mobile padel court and networking in a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Innovation sparked at the EY Dome
The EY Dome at The Next Web Conference served as a vibrant hub of innovation and collaboration, featuring a dynamic program designed to engage attendees over two days.
The conference kicked off with Natalia Martin from EY discussing 'Scaling AI Adoption Across Complex Organizations', emphasizing the integration of AI into business strategies. This was followed by Kim Verkooij from Solvimon and Daan van Cann from EY, who explored innovative monetization strategies in the usage-based economy. Healthcare technology took center stage with Thomas Hufener from Kaiko.ai, highlighting AI's potential in oncology care. The afternoon featured a workshop led by Igor Mikhalev and Sebastian Kortmann on fostering collaboration in Europe, along with a Women in Tech panel moderated by Anna van den Breemer from EY, discussing the Future of Work and essential skills for women in the industry.
Meet the speakers
The second day began with a session on EY’s AI-driven transformation journey, followed by insights from Rune Theill (Rockstart) and Simon Bushell (Sympower) on the future of innovation. Jacqueline van den Ende from Carbon Equity emphasized sustainable investment practices, while Else Luisman from TikTok and Marisa Wilkes from EY discussed the cultural impact of the TikTok algorithm. Workshops continued with practical insights on AI for customer experience, and the day concluded with sessions on retail innovation with Picnic and business finance with GoDutch.
Throughout the conference, the EY Padel Court provided a unique space for networking and relaxation, enhancing the festival atmosphere. The EY Dome showcased cutting-edge ideas and reinforced EY's commitment to empowering businesses in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
