Marcus is the EY-Parthenon leader for Media and Entertainment in the Europe West region. He has over 20 years of experience as a strategy consultant and C-level manager in the Technology, Media and Entertainment (TMT) industry and in cross-industry marketing.
In TMT, his focus is on growth strategies, portfolio management, organizational transformation and commercial due diligences — with emphasis on video, gaming, advertising and software.
In the marketing domain, Marcus supports CMOs cross-industry in developing marketing strategies with a focus on marketing effectiveness and marketing operating models.
Before joining EY-Parthenon in 2020, Marcus headed the strategy department of a leading German media group, where he was responsible for strategy, in-house consulting and all M&A processes.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Cologne and a doctorate in economics from University of St. Gallen.
