EY Global Private Equity Strategy and Transactions Markets Director

As a Global Strategy and Transactions Markets Director, Marina is the leader of the Markets pillar in the Global Strategy and Transactions executive structure. Her focus is in Private Equity and her role entails integrating EY’s sectors, accounts and business development functions to develop growth-oriented investment plans for clients of Strategy and Transactions.

In her previous role as Strategy and Transactions Sectors Development Leader, Marina drove the Strategy and Transactions Sector strategy across regional practices and competencies. She was also responsible for the Sector Specialization Program to further embed specific sector strategies into our overall Market Strategy and  partnered with brand, marketing and communications to enhance EY’s sector brand. She has also retained responsibility for aligning EY’s Global Origination Program with Strategy and Transactions strategic priorities and business objectives.

In her role as the Global Development and Implementation leader, Marina designed and implemented a global, sector-based Origination program that empowers  EY clients to react to market demands and  prepare for disruptive events in a timely manner. Marina partnered with global, regional and area Private Equity sector leadership and business development teams to ensure a successful firmwide execution and adoption of the Origination program.

Prior to EY, Marina was Regional Manager and Head of Business Development and Strategy for Europe, Russia and CIS Business Monitor International (BMI), a Fitch Group Company. In addition, she held a Regional Sales Manager role in Finance and Capital Markets, London and Miami for the Marcus Evans Group.

Marina holds an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Nottingham.

How Marina is bulding a better working world

Through her work in Private Equity, Marina is particularly focused on impact investing. In her personal time, she volunteers and fundraises for Crisis, a UK National Charity for the homeless, and also for Pancreatic Research UK.
