What EY can do for you

The future workforce will face roles that don’t yet exist – and success will depend on more than technical skills. Adaptability, curiosity and creativity are all vital to thrive in a complex, AI-enabled world.

Through EY Ripples, we’re all in with our people, clients and collaborators helping the next generation and underserved groups build those future-ready skills. From digital literacy and AI awareness to leadership and problem-solving, we’re upskilling learners and connecting them with the tools and mentors they need to shape the future with confidence.

Here’s how EY teams are supporting the next generation around the world:

Mentoring for the future of work

EY professionals mentor young people, all generations and underserved groups, sharing knowledge, experience and skills through one-on-one or group settings. Programs span AI, STEM, environmental literacy, financial literacy, job shadowing and entrepreneurship. Through collaborations with clients, alliances and nonprofits, we’re scaling in-person and digital training to reach even the most remote communities.

Skills development workshops

EY Future Skills Workshops help young people explore the topics shaping tomorrow – from AI and sustainability to financial literacy and emerging technology. Led by EY professionals, these 90-minute to half-day sessions inspire students aged 5-22 to discover new passions for (and pathways to) the future of work.

Delivered in 40+ countries, modules are available to educators for classroom teaching and as text-based mobile learning to help bridge the digital divide.

In-person programs are bringing this learning to life, for example:

  • EY Code Clubs: helping students aged 7-16 learn coding and digital problem-solving in fun, hands-on sessions
  • UN International Telecommunication Union AI Workshops: introducing students to the basics of AI and its role in shaping a sustainable future

EY Ripples continues to expand collaborations that make access to future skills more inclusive.

Leading the workforce of today is all about empowering the talent of tomorrow. I encourage future generations to be curious, upskill themselves on new and emerging technologies, and to embrace and invent new innovations that will help us all build a better working world.

Collaborating with leading nonprofits, clients and alliance partners

As demand for future-ready skills grows, collaboration is key. EY Ripples brings together programs across the public, private and nonprofit sectors to make this learning available at scale – achieving together what no one organization could achieve alone.

This includes global collaborations with Microsoft, as well as with leading nonprofit organizations, such as JA Worldwide (Junior Achievement), Code.org and TeachAI, Teach For All and Technovation.
