EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific Class of 2026
Vice President and Co-founder, Xepic Corporation Limited, Greater China

Zhe Wang is the vice president and co-founder of Xepic Corporation Limited, a leading Chinese enterprise in the semiconductor industry specializing in electronic design automation (EDA) software and hardware solutions. Founded in March 2020, Xepic has rapidly grown into a unicorn company, pioneering next-generation EDA design methodologies and innovative business models. The company’s activities span hardware emulation, software development and integrated circuit design tools, addressing critical gaps in China’s domestic market.

Zhe’s entrepreneurial journey is driven by a vision to strengthen China’s semiconductor ecosystem and cultivate world-class EDA talent. Recognizing the surge in demand for advanced chip design tools and the global trend toward technological self-reliance, Zhe leveraged her experience to create a platform that empowers innovation. At just 36, she launched the “X-initiative,” a program dedicated to nurturing top R&D talent for the integrated circuit industry.

Under her leadership, Xepic has completed nine rounds of financing in three years, attracting investment from leading institutions, such as China Development Bank Capital, Sequoia Capital and Hillhouse Capital. Her strategic focus includes building an open, collaborative ecosystem, reducing reliance on traditional store-based models, and expanding horizontally to create multiple growth pillars. This approach positions Xepic to accelerate chip design innovation and redefine the future of EDA in China.

Wang was featured in Forbes China’s “2023 China Business: 20 Promising Women” and continues to champion an industry-wide transformation that blends technological advancement with talent development.

My vision is to make chip design simpler, smarter and more accessible, accelerating innovation through advanced EDA platforms. I’m redefining the intelligent future from the core by leading Xepic’s commitment to developing future-oriented EDA 2.0 software and intelligent electronic design platforms.
