With decades of IT audit and advisory experience, Choon Huat performs control assessments in various computer environments, manages numerous System and Organization Controls (SOC) 1 and SOC 2 reports for organizations, conducts security assessments and provides IT financial audit support. He advises boards on technology risk management and evaluates IT general controls, various operating system platforms, business workflows and applications, and control deficiencies. 

Well versed in Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Choon Huat helps local institutions assess personal data protection controls. His extensive experience includes leading IT audits for technology companies, financial institutions and institutes of higher learning in Singapore and foreign private issuers listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. 

Choon Huat is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, ISACA; Chartered Accountant of Singapore, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants; and Certified Internal Auditor, The Institute of Internal Auditors Singapore. He also holds an ITIL Foundation (Version 3) certification.
