Sunil Yadav

Sunil has more than 20 years of energy engineering and sustainability experience across Southeast Asian markets, with a focus on driving decarbonization, grid decentralization and digitalization in businesses ranging from startups to large organizations. 

With his deep knowledge of climate adaptation and the transition to a low-carbon economy, Sunil helps companies decarbonize large infrastructure for a climate-resilient future. His experience includes the decarbonization of critical manufacturing and data centers across various phases of design, construction and operations. He also conducted numerous energy audits and implemented energy optimization projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. 

Previously, Sunil was Director, Infrastructure Advisory – ESG and Decarbonization at a leading accounting firm. Earlier roles included leading energy performance services and the design and building of data centers at global energy technology providers. He was also a board member and the secretary for the Singapore International Facility Management Association.

I also play a pivotal role in strengthening measurement, reporting and verification capabilities and facilitating carbon market readiness across the region to help realize sustainability aspirations, including nationally determined contributions tracking and corporate net-zero pathways. In addition, I work closely with public and private companies to design and build or co-create digital platforms to drive decarbonization efforts with business objectives.”
