Julia Djarova is the EY Leader for EU institutions external assistance policies and instruments. She has over 25 years experience in leading and implementing multi-million international assignments advising governments, business support organizations, universities and individual entrepreneurs. Julia draws on her past experience and strong business skills to contribute to EY flagship initiatives related to the European Union’s core policies and priority areas.

Before joining EY, Julia held senior roles in public sector advisory companies, including the role of Managing Director for a prominent Dutch consultancy firm. She holds a PhD in Quantitative Economics. Julia is a member of the board for several charitable organisations.

“Thanks to my role I have the unique opportunity to develop projects which are bringing positive change to the world as we know it. I’m fully committed to be the closest adviser to the European international cooperation and development agencies and to provide a concrete contribution in delivering aid throughout the world. My personal commitment to support disadvantaged economies and the process of further EU enlargement is my biggest motivation.

In my daily job I also work passionately to advance the next generation of women as leaders both in the public and private sectors as I really believe that more women in the economy can help accelerate growth across the board. I am an active member of our Women.Fast Forward and Entrepreneurial Winning Women programs as well of our Next Generation CRP.”
