Elif Semra Ceylan has approximately 10 years of consulting experience and continues her career as the Senior Manager of Government and Public Sector (GPS) Consulting Services at EY Türkiye.
Semra have carried out projects for numerous public institutions, international organizations, and professional business organizations in thematic areas such as data and evidence-based policy design, economics and policy research, economic analysis and modeling, foreign direct investments, international trade, public financial management, public investment management, climate policy, and sectoral green transformation in Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, and the Caucasus countries.
In addition to her professional career, she is a member of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Global Shapers Community and an economic researcher at the Economic Research Forum (ERF).
Semra completed her BSc in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Middle East Technical University (METU) and her master's degree in the Department of Economics at METU. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Economics at METU.
