As the Country Managing Partner of EY Türkiye, Metin Canoğulları embodies about 30 years experience in the audit field. After 13 years of work experience in the industry, he joined EY in 2002 as an Assurance Services Partner. In addition to works he has done in the main financial institutions of Türkiye, he has provided services to international and local firms as well. He has expertise in telecommunications, consumer products, retail, manufacturing, cement and financial services.
He played an active role in the development of Middle Eastern market, Family Businesses and Public Offering (IPO). He also possesses certificate in independent auditing for Capital Markets in Türkiye. He is active in the audit of financial statements prepared in adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB).
Canoğulları, who graduated from Istanbul Technical University Management Engineering, completed his master's degree in Business Administration at Boğaziçi University.
