On 26 August 2025, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Decision 903/QD-UBND regarding the delegation of authority to the authorized parties, including:
- Director of the Department of Home Affairs
- Head of the management board of export processing zones and industrial zones of Ho Chi Minh City
- Head of the management board of the high-tech park of Ho Chi Minh City
To perform the tasks and powers related to the issuance, reissuance, extension, and revocation of work permits and work permit exemption certificate for foreign workers working in Vietnam within the jurisdiction of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 2191.
The delegation of authority will take effect from the date this decision is enforced, specifically from 26 August 2025 to 31 March 2026.
