Amé is the EY Africa Innovation and Digital Leader in Assurance heading a division of 50+ people. She is a registered auditor (IRBA), signing audit opinions of various significant subsidiaries of listed entities. She has over 14 years of mining and financial services industry experience and SEC (PCAOB) and JSE experience.
Over the years, Amé has worked in collaboration with several global digital and innovation leaders, regulators and professional bodies to create new opportunities to use data analytics to improve audit quality and effectiveness, demonstrating the power of data to clients to enhance decision making.
In 2019, she launched the analytics training program that was designed specifically for audit trainees in collaboration with SAICA. This program enhanced the analytic skills set for a selected group of trainees to accelerate the #betteraudits journey.
Amé holds a BCom Accounting from North-West University and CTA (UNISA) and is a CA (SA) (SAICA) and a Registered Auditor (IRBA).
