Larissa is a Partner in the Financial Reporting Group. She specialises in financial instruments and supports EY’s listed clients with financial reporting as well as financial advisory services Her focus areas are the banking, mining and retail sectors. She is also the sponsoring partner for the EY Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards.
After completing her articles with EY in Johannesburg, she worked in London for two large international investment banks. In April 2001 she joined the EY Corporate Finance Office in London, focusing on financial reporting advisory. She gained extensive international experience, providing accounting advice to UK, US and European investment banks.
Upon returning to South Africa in 2005, Larissa joined the assurance practice and has been a member of the IFRS desk since 2009.
Larissa has a Masters degree in Tax.
