Dr Michele Capazario is EY Africa Economic Modelling Lead and a labour economist, programme management leader and public-private delivery adviser. He helps institutions translate labour market evidence into coordinated delivery, measurable employment outcomes and practical public-private action.
He has more than a decade of experience leading complex national initiatives across government, business, development institutions and organised labour. His work spans labour market reform, skills development, economic recovery and infrastructure employment programmes, including the South African Critical Skills List, the Skills Strategy for the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan, and labour market diagnostics across eight African countries. He holds a PhD in Economics.
