Michiel is the South African Transfer Pricing Leader with over 21 years of transfer pricing experience.
He is an admitted attorney and holds the following degrees BLC, LLB and LLM (Tax).
Apart from normal transfer pricing matters, Michiel built EY South Africa's transfer pricing audit task force in 2017, which has been focusing on assisting clients in dispute management and resolution, controversy and strategic handling of processes connected with transfer pricing audits.
Furthermore, Michiel’s client relationships focuses on multinationals across various global industries including technology, pharmaceutical, chemicals and plastics, energy and natural resources.
Finally, Michiel has also been voted as the Transfer Pricing Practice Leader of the Year 2022 by the International Tax Review Awards.
