Sandile is an experienced corporate finance, business turnaround, management consulting and business development Partner. As Market Segment Leader for Government & Public Sector, he leads a core team of Partners across Africa in executing a cross-service-line key accounts services growth strategy.
Before this, Sandile was Managing Partner of the EY Africa Region, Transaction Advisory Service Line where he gained extensive experience in restructuring, capital raising, project finance, and M&A.
Sandile previously led the M&A expansion of a JSE-listed pan-African insurance business into seven countries across Africa as CEO.
For six years, he served as CEO of the Turnaround Management Association of Southern Africa (a professional association for business rescue and turnaround professionals).
He is a Chartered Accountant CA(SA), has a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
