Tejal Somaru is an Associate Partner in Technology Consulting at EY, where she provides executive leadership across the Africa SAP practice. She co-leads the SAP portfolio from both a capability and business development perspective, guiding market strategy, alliance growth and practice performance. In this role, she helps shape EY’s broader Markets & Industries agenda relating to SAP by aligning sector priorities, ecosystem partnerships and technology-enabled offerings to client demand across Africa.
With more than 20 years’ experience spanning technology sales, consulting and largescale transformation, Tejal has led complex, multidisciplinary programmes in SAP focussed environments and has held senior leadership roles driving operational excellence and delivery assurance. Her work centres on architecting scalable solutions, strengthening forecasting and executive communication, and supporting P&L aligned outcomes for major clients, including those within the DFI, medical insurance, banking and public sectors. Prior to joining EY, she supported transformation initiatives for several global organisations, enabling business resilience through technology-enabled change.
