How Phil is building a better working world

Insurance offers a vital service to societies, providing a safety net which allows people and firms to take the risks needed for economic growth while protecting families from adversity. However, a protection gap still exists, due in some part to inefficiencies in the business model and a rapidly changing risk landscape which can prevent insurance capital in getting to where it’s needed.

"In my work with clients, I am proud to help them find ways to innovate their products, reduce operating cost and allocate capital efficiently to bridge this protection gap. I have a strong professional interest in sustainable insurance and stakeholder capitalism. I believe that insurers can and should play a key role in combatting climate change and driving progress towards net zero, accelerating diversity, equity and inclusion and maintaining a strong focus on progressive governance.”
