Rebecca is the EY Global Long-term value Solution Leader, coordinating the efforts across the organization to support clients in meeting society’s demand for greater responsibility from the organizations they work for, buy from and invest in.
Rebecca has 22 years of experience working for the EY organization and has been a Partner for 7 years at Ernst & Young LLP.
Her career at EY has spanned Audit and Financial Accounting Advisory Services, with a focus on accounting excellence. In recent years, her focus has shifted from financial reporting to non-financial reporting, and the need for companies to provide a meaningful articulation of how their strategy for delivering long-term value is reflected in robust outcome-based goals and metrics.
She is now working on a cross-service line basis to support clients in their transition from shareholder to stakeholder value.
Rebecca has a doctorate in Medieval English from the University of Oxford.
How Rebecca is building a better working world
“As a working Mum, who gives up time with her daughters to be at work, it is really important to me that what I do makes a difference and contributes to building a sustainable future for the next generation.
Working in Assurance, I have always been proud of my role in helping build trust and transparency in the financial markets through the quality of financial reporting. Working with clients in the area of long-term value instils an even greater pride in helping clients focus authentically not just on delivering financial value across the investment chain, but also on how they are innovating and investing to meet the complex and sometimes competing needs of investors, customers, talent and society. Business must be part of the solution, not the cause of problems for people and planet.”
