  • Entrepreneur-only industry sessions

These high-energy sessions designed by and for entrepreneurs will explore how to prepare for the NextWave of industries as artificial intelligence, blockchain and other technologies fundamentally change traditional ecosystems and business models. These informative, deep-dive sessions will help you solve the now, explore the next and imagine the beyond.

Shopping-buying divergence: when bots do the buying, where’s the value in shopping?

The NextWave of consumers will experience buying and shopping as very different activities. AI will curate and buy for us. We’ll only shop for the very few products and services that help us express who we are.

Thursday, 6 June 2019, 14:00–15:30, Princess Grace Suite, Hôtel de Paris

    Future cities and mobility

To ensure the NextWave of cities creates places that people want to live, work and play, entrepreneurs and governments must work together effectively to come up with innovative approaches. These increasingly technology-enabled approaches will require creative new designs for mixed-use spaces as well as efficient infrastructure and sustainable transportation.

Thursday, 6 June 2019, 14:00–15:30, Monaco Yacht Club

This session will offer breakout sessions on two NextWave topics:

    • Moving the cities of the future: how technology is changing urban mobility

When citizens are driving mobility, what’s the role of the city?
Technological advances are transforming the transportation landscape. How will connected devices and new business models keep the cities of the future on the move?

    • Smarter urban spaces: how 5G and connected devices will transform future cities

Can more connected devices make cities smarter? Entrepreneurs who are developing new city applications will benefit from the 5G-enabled explosion of connected devices. How will wider connectivity offer greater convenience, efficiency and quality of life to all citizens?

Anytime, anywhere health and care: how will your business model enable personalized care?

As technology advances, interconnected, end-to-end consumer platforms connecting stakeholders across the health value chain can become a reality to deliver the NextWave of health sciences and wellness — the ultimate personalization at scale.

Thursday, 6 June 2019, 16:00–17:30, Princess Grace Suite, Hôtel de Paris

Intelligent automation: is your organization working harder or automating smarter?

Applying emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and RPA on top of old strategies, processes and (most importantly) thinking is akin to “paving the cow-path”— making the same things (good or bad) happen at the speed of light. Reimagining business systems to fully harvest the value of emerging tech and deliver the NextWave of adaptive digital enterprise requires both bold design thinking and adaptive deployment.

Thursday, 6 June 2019, 16:00–17:30, Monaco Yacht Club

The future energy customer: do tomorrow’s energy customers present an opportunity or pose a threat?

The NextWave of energy customers will be empowered to control how their energy is used, stored or sold. What are the implications for energy companies today?

Thursday, 6 June 2019, 16:00–17:30, Salon Prince Jacques Ier, Hôtel de Paris
