CSO Forum and Sustainability Excellence Awards

To accelerate and support the high-quality development, the EY Greater China Region launched the CSO Forum and Sustainability Excellence Awards to identify and recognize best practices in low-carbon transformation and sustainable development; drive the deployment and commercialization of new technology and models; encourage listed companies to play a leading role in advancing sustainable development in China.

Pioneering a sustainable future with digital intelligence

With the theme of “Pioneering a sustainable future with digital intelligence”, the fourth CSO Forum and SEA will focus on frontier issues, including sustainability, big data and AI (artificial intelligence), providing a platform for high-level exchanges among government officials, regulators, industry-specific organizations and leading businesses to explore new paths for coordinated digital and green transformation. This initiative aims to expedite the development of a sustainable business ecosystem.

Nominees, recommended by the organizers and event supporters, are mainly from national and international listed companies of a certain scale.

Company

(Includes but not limited to):

  • Companies excelling in overall ESG performance
  • Companies excelling in one or more areas of ESG
  • Companies leading ESG efforts in their industry

Individual 

(Includes but not limited to):

  • Individuals working at a listed company, including executives responsible for typical sustainability-related business, innovative technical professionals and scientists

Forging new quality productive forces for global sustainability; The third CSO Forum and Sustainability Excellence Awards results unveiled

HONG KONG, 22 NOVEMBER 2024 — 2024 marks the 20th anniversary since the concept of ESG first appeared in the United Nations, as well as the starting year of mandatory ESG disclosure by A-share listed companies. Last May, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Beijing Stock Exchange officially implemented the guidelines on ESG disclosure for listed companies, hence fostering ESG development and embracing the new era of ESG are increasingly stringent for companies on their growth journey. As China advances to promote high-level opening up to the world, Chinese enterprises have now entered a new phase in going global, shaping a new state for technology, brand and trade in services.

The second CSO Forum and Sustainability Excellence Awards officially launched

BEIJING, 18 MAY 2023 – The second CSO Forum and Sustainability Excellence Awards was launched today, kicking off the second year of the awards program. The CSO Forum, themed “Bolster confidence toward sustainability”, will continue to serve as a platform for exchanging experience among the government, regulators, professional organizations, academic institutions and leading companies to explore a high-quality development path that is innovation-driven, green and sustainable for Chinese companies.
