Vaaka Partners, a leading private equity firm based in Finland and Sweden, has acquired a majority stake in Axitare, a pioneering medical device company specializing in easy-to-use medicine dispensing robots for elderly people living at home. 

On 12 May 2025, it was announced that Vaaka Partners, a leading private equity firm based in Finland and Sweden, will acquire a majority stake in Axitare, a pioneering medical device company specializing in easy-to-use medicine dispensing robots for elderly people living at home. The plan is to accelerate Axitare's international growth and expand its innovative solutions to new markets.
