Svetlana has over 27 years of experience in taxation, including 7 years in the tax authorities. She has worked with Big Four firms in various jurisdictions for over 20 years, including 12 years in Kazakhstan, 7 years in Central and Eastern Europe (Moldova), and 1 year in Southeast Asia. She has led numerous projects advising both foreign and Kazakhstan companies across industries on tax matters, financial and tax reporting, development and improvement of tax accounting processes and internal controls, drafting Tax Accounting Policies, ERP (SAP) implementation and localization, tax reviews, and supporting clients during tax audits and appeal processes in Kazakhstan.
Svetlana is a licensed economist, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, and has earned the ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation, UK). She is a Certified Professional Accountant in the Republic of Kazakhstan and a member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants of Kazakhstan. She also serves as Co-Chair of EUROBAK’s Healthcare Committee and actively engages in various business associations to promote a better tax and investment climate in Kazakhstan.
